形態特徵

• Stems erect, from short or long creeping rhizome, terete, leafy upward or more often with congested leaves apically.
• Leaves 3-7, subcoriaceous, ovate or ovate-oblong or narrowly lanceolate, 3.5-8.5 cm long, 1-3.5 cm wide, apex acuminate, base obtuse, margins flat, green, main veins 3.
• Peduncle 15-30 cm long, villose, with 1-3-sheaths near base; flowering portion of inflorescence 5-10 cm long, 10-20-flowered; floral bracts lanceolate, villose. Flowers not resupinate; ovaries not twisted, slightly bent back; sepals villose abaxially, green with white stripe, 5.3-5.8 mm long, dorsal one concave, lateral ones oblong, spreading; petals falcate, white, appressed to dorsal sepal and with it forming hood, hood perpendicular to ovary; lip tripartite, 6.5-7.5 mm long, white; hypochile saccate, keeled, bearing 4 papillae within; mesochile clawed, 1.5 mm long; epichile dilated and bilobed, lobules nearly orbicular, 3.5-4 mm long and wide, revolute; column somewhat flat and clavate, perpendicular to ovary, 4 mm long, with 4 tubular appendages on ventral side; anthers triangular-lanceolate, 2.8 mm long; pollinia 2.2 mm long, joined at tapered ends and attached to tegula stipe; stigmatic lobes 2, on ventral side of rostellum base; rostellum 2 mm long, cleft at apex, tegula stipe ovate-oblong, 1.3 mm long.
• Excepting for the position and other features of the lip at anthesis, this species is similar to members of the genus <i>Zeuxine</i> in most other characters.

分布

• 台灣 : forests at low elevations in the center and south.
• 世界 : Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.
